I like to think of myself as a woman of the people – and as such I do my damnedest to make myself accessible to all and sundry.  As you will no doubt appreciate however, being a universally adored icon can be quite exhausting - resulting in my receiving many hundreds of letters each week from admirers, sychophants, beggars and poor souls in personal crisis.  I read each one (sometimes with a tear, sometimes with anger but always with constructive sensitivity) but it is simply impossible to personally respond to every individual.
